LOTRO - The 'Magic' Of Lalia's Market

This week in LOTRO (among other things)  has seen the grand opening of Miss Lalia’s Market ,  a new feature in Bree town. Finally, after getting lost countless times in the Barrow Down, Miss Lalia  returns to Bree , offering up dyes and a market full to the rafters with lovely goodies. Hats, shirts, pants, cloaks, , and even shoes. A truly brilliant idea been implemented in LOTRO , one that makes the 'shopping experience' more fun and enjoyable. People do actually walk slowly in the market, stop to try things on, discuss potential purchases, use the mirrors, and most of all, have fun.

So as I entered for the first time and looked down  an other famous market  came to my mind immediately. A place in a different world and a different time yet for some reason,  very very similar.  A cobbled wizarding alley and shopping area located in London, England behind a pub called the Leaky Cauldron.Inside the alley is an assortment of restaurants, shops, and other sights...

"There were shops selling robes, shops selling telescopes and strange silver instruments Harry had never seen before, windows stacked with barrels of bat spleens and eels' eyes, tottering piles of spell books, quills, and rolls of parchment, potion bottles, globes of the moon...." (J. K. Rowling )

Of course there are no spell books or flying brooms for sale in Lalia's Market , but the feeling  the place gives is the same one can experience by walking  in Diagon Alley.  It is just a fun and colorful place to be, full of nice people , custumers and traders, sounds and voices, the 'ding ding' of coins been exchanged.  So now here is the hope to see more like this in game in the future, maybe a market for house decorations , and even players run shops  to sell their wares and produce, many people enjoy crafting and why not ?
